~ Congressman Mike Thompson
It’s time to roll up our sleeves.
Women’s March Napa Valley is working to translate the unity and love we experienced on Jan 21 into ACTION. We need your involvement and support to move us forward. We are currently organizing and prioritizing next steps: direct actions, meetings, rallies, and marches, and we need your help. The massive worldwide march turnout will not result in change unless we channel our energy into concrete action. Each action item needs a team for successful implementation, and everyone has a skill that we can use to move us forward. You can help in large and small ways. We will post volunteer opportunities on our Facebook page and on this site.
Your Next step in becoming an activist!
To the 4,000+ women, men, youth and other organizers who joined the oceans of Marchers January 21st – Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Join us at our upcoming Town Hall Meeting to discuss issues, community engagement, and effective activism. We will be focusing on immigration and the actions our community can take to improve everyone's safety. We will have Spanish translation and child care. Please let us know in advance if you will need child care so we will know how many kids to plan for.
